Heading To The Classic
The 2010 season kicks off with the BASS Masters Classic on Lay Lake by Birmingham, Alabama. This is my 9th qualification for the BASS Classic.

This year will be busy as ever… I am competing in the 2010 BASS Elite Series and the 2010 PAA Series this year. Add in the seminars and public appearances and 2010 will be jam packed. Being outdoors on the water or in the woods is in my blood. I am an avid outdoorsman and love competing on the professional bass circuits.

Thanks to the support of my family and great sponsors; I have been able to live my dream...traveling the country and making a living doing what I love.

I spend as much time on the water as I can. When I am not fishing, I research new products to help give the competitive edge that is needed in the BASS Elite Series. Aligning myself with great sponsors and only endorsing products that I truly believe in has been key to my success. The products I use are the best.

I qualified for my first BASS Master Classic in 1997 and never looked back. Professional Bass fishing can be expensive and requires 100% commitment mentally, physically and financially. I have been fortunate enough to reap the rewards of my commitment.

I plan on 2010 being another great year for my career, my family and my sponsors.

I look forward to another year of living my dream!!! - Brent Chapman

Congratulations on your Classic finish from all of us at Shawnee Mission Bassmasters. If you have have not left for California before our next meeting you should stop in and hang out for a while. What a great show of friendship by giving Todd a bait on Sunday. You are a class act. Good Luck the rest of the way and come see us when you get a chance.

I was reading on the ESPN Classic Blog that Brent gave Faircloth a bait he had been catching fish with, on the water. Is this true? If so, that speaks very highly of Brent. What an incredible testament to his character and virtue.
