Welcome to Russellville, Arkansas
Every time we are here we encounter severe weather. Being in tornado warnings and straight line winds in a camper is awesome!! We are getting our bad weather for the next few days. I hope nothing too severe.

Well, last week we were in the suburbs of Fort Worth. We can back our camper in Brian’s drive and live like the Griswalds. His neighbors must think we are crazy, but we love it. We set up in his drive and get to spend plenty of time with the family with the comfort of our own beds. This year was special because Brent’s Uncle Dennis and Aunt Carol were visiting at the same time. They brought their daughter, Rebecca, down for spring break. Mason and Makayla love spending time with Rebecca, Sara and Benjamin. We had a great time and got a lot of work done.

We also played with my family. My brother (Wes) lives only 15 minutes from Uncle Brian’s house. I wish they would move to Kansas City and our kids could play together all the time. My brother had three kids, Terri, Vincent and Victoria. Terri is a freshmen in high school and very ‘grown-up.’ She went to the gym and the mall with me. She is so great to be around. Terri is very grounded. She is not arrogant or vain… but she has a good self-esteem and is confident in herself. I don’t know much about teens, but she seems to be a doing great.

Vincent and Victoria and 6 & 7 and my kids LOVED playing with them. We only get together a few times a year, but Mason and Makayla always have a blast. They will talk about their cousins for weeks after the visit. They are already counting down to our annual trip to Grand Lake around the 4th of July. Gigi also came to visit Wes and Charelle and all the grandkids. We love Gigi.

So last week was wonderful. Back to work… Brent needs another good showing at the Dardanelle tournament. He finished 30th at Lake Amistad and we are starting off the year with ‘decent’ points toward Angler of the Year. The kids and I love this campground. All of our friends and within 100 yards of our camper and we can walk to the weigh-ins. Lake Dardanelle State Park is very convenient for us. Let’s just hope Brent finds the bass. GO BRENT!!

My kids love spending time with their cousins as well... I had more fun than the kids. I'm very proud of my sister, Brent and the kids. I often think about moving back to KC, and what it would mean to the kids.

P.S.
The new grass Mason and Vince planted looks great!
